Together we are greater than the sum of our parts and we can make a bold move forward in the measurement of corporate social performance
Finding accounting tools for accurately measuring corporate social performance requires the contribution of diverse stakeholders. Recent polycrises and socialwashing scandals accentuated the urge to solve this challenge.
How can we measure corporate social performance in a credible and impactful way?
We are organizing a 24-hour accounting hackathon (hereafter Accathon), entitled: Measuring the Unmeasurable: Sustainability Accathon in Rome October 12-13, 2023 (4pm – 4pm).
Respond to our call for action by submitting a short proposal on how to tackle the challenge of measuring and reporting corporate social performance i.e., the social dimension of corporate sustainability/ESG, by 31 May 2023 and include it in the Accathon application form. The proposal can take various formats, including written abstracts, video, PowerPoint, or poster.
WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE?
Upon selection you will be invited to Rome, and we will cover the costs of your visit and one-day stay. During the Accathon, we will further develop your proposals and exchange ideas on innovative tools to evaluate corporate social performance, co-create practical solutions to address the challenge within an international and interdisciplinary environment.
