Announcing four new research projects supported by E4S in 2025

12.03.2025

We are excited to unveil the four research projects that have been awarded support from the Enterprise for Society Center for 2025. Each year, E4S invites researchers from our three founding institutions—UNIL, IMD, and EPFL—to propose projects that align with our mission: driving the transition toward a sustainable and resilient economy within planetary boundaries.

A criterion for selection is meaningful collaboration between researchers from at least two of the three founding institutions. E4S is built on the belief that combining the unique strengths of UNIL, IMD, and EPFL leads to significant positive spillovers. By fostering interdisciplinary research and leveraging the diverse expertise across these institutions, we aim to generate impactful insights and solutions.

This year’s selected projects address key challenges at the intersection of sustainability, technology, and economic transformation :

We congratulate the researchers behind these initiatives and look forward to seeing their contributions help shape a more sustainable future.
