Principal Investigator True Cost of Food Project, UNIL

Dominique is Principal Investigator for the True Cost of Food project. She co-leads the coordination and knowledge transfer, as well as the focus on food system transformation and theory of change.

Dominique supervises research projects and teaches at the University of Lausanne – Institute of Geography and Sustainability and ETHZ – Institute of Agriculture - Sustainable Agroecosystems Group.

She is currently involved in projects related to the resilience of farmers and breeders in the Entremont region of Valais; the economic transparency in the agricultural sector in Canton of Vaud; developing responsible models for the deployment of robotics in agricultural systems; the distribution of value equitably in Swiss food supply chains.

Dominique also plays a leading role in TAPELINE, a project supporting the large-scale transition to agroecology across five European countries, including Switzerland. The project uses a participatory approach to implement and adapt the Tool for Agroecological Performance Evaluation (TAPE), fostering collaboration among farmers, researchers, and policymakers. TAPELINE helps develop context-specific strategies that promote sustainable, resilient, and locally rooted agricultural practices at both farm and landscape levels.
